Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, founded in 1906, is the cornerstone of one of the oldest corporations in Oklahoma. The history of Oklahoma Natural Gas is closely aligned with the history of the state.

Kansas Gas Service

Kansas Gas Service was established in 1997. It has been known under a variety of names – Gas Service Company, Kansas Gas and Electric Company, KPL and KPL Gas Service - with a 100-year tradition of utility service to customers in Kansas, western Missouri and northeastern Oklahoma. In 1997 ONEOK purchased natural gas assets from Western Resources, forming the new company named Kansas Gas Service.

Texas Gas Service

Texas Gas Service was formed in 2003 when ONEOK purchased the Texas assets of Southern Union Gas. Southern Union Gas was created in far-west Texas in the 1920s and had since acquired properties in El Paso, Austin, the Rio Grande Valley and other regions of Texas now part of today’s Texas Gas Service territory. Texas Gas Service has a 90 plus year tradition of utility service to customers throughout Texas.
